The Enchanted Mill

A soldier falls into a place of enchantment. There he meets a creature who he recognises as the woman of his dreams. He can only make her his bride by stealing something precious from her. They leave the place of Enchantment. She longs to return. The one who can set her free is her only daughter called Golden Golden. If freed, however, will the mother of Golden Golden ever return?

 

Thought on Storytelling

You have to be bewitched yourself by what you`re telling. It has to bewitch you. And if you are not in aw, you cannot communicate awe to other people. You have to be attuned to the magic or it becomes just another technique. Magicians believe in their magic; tricksters just use it.
